Preliminary round of the 2026 King Sejong Korean Writing Contest
Every year, the Bien Hoa – LHU King Sejong Institute organizes the King Sejong Korean Writing Contest to celebrate Hangeul Day. This academic competition provides an excellent opportunity for learners to demonstrate their Korean language proficiency while connecting and exchanging experiences with fellow participants. Outstanding contestants will have the chance to join a Korean cultural experience week in South Korea and advance to the final round for the opportunity to receive scholarships from Korean universities, thereby expanding their future academic and career prospects.

Eligibility:

- Learners currently studying or who have graduated from the Bien Hoa – LHU King Sejong Institute;

- Individuals without Korean nationality and whose parents do not use Korean as their native language.
