Full-moon Festival - Love Sharing

Nothing is better than being reunited with family, sharing memorable moments under the full moonlight of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only an occasion for children to have fun but also a precious time for families to bond, experience simple and familiar joys together.

On the evening of September 14, 2024, LHU's Trade Union organized the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 for children of lecturers, staff, and employees working at the University. The Festival taking place at Du Long Restaurant in Buu Long Tourist Area brought many fun and interesting activities such as folk games (blowing water balloons, throwing cans, jigsaw puzzles, ...), interacting with Miss. Hang and Mr. Cuoi, impressive lion dance performances, clown performances with balloon crafts, quizzes, special magic performances along with art performances.

The highlight of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 is the fundraising activity to support people in the North affected by the recent storm Yagi. With the theme of "Love Sharing", children and their families of LHU joined hands to donate to support those affected by the storms and floods. Through this activity, the children have learned valuable lessons about empathy and compassion, the spirit of sharing "the rich help the poor", spreading love to the community.

The Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 took place in a meaningful, emotional and warm atmosphere full of bustling laughter, sparkling lights and children's joy. The event is also an opportunity for parents and the University to look back and share responsibilities in educating young generations to become good children, good students, worthy of the title “Uncle Ho's good children”.
