MoU signed between LHU and MIDAS Information Technology Co., Ltd.

On May 8, 2024, LHU signed a MoU with MIDAS Information Technology Co., Ltd., Korea. The signing event marked an important milestone in the cooperation with foreign businesses in order to bring practical values to LHU students in general and Construction Engineering students in particular.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of LHU, were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector; MBA. Huynh Thuc Hieu - Deputy Director of the Center of Admissions and Public Relations, MSc. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and lecturers. The Midas IT Company was represented by Mr. Jeong Sun Tea - Vice President of Midas Group cum CEO, Mr. Park Ji Won (Ken) - Director of Midas IT in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Tu Thang - Head of Technical Department. 

Speaking at the event, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh said that LHU's goal and vision is to train students meeting the actual needs of enterprises, so that when students finish their studies at the University, they will come to companies to work instead of an internship period.

Mr. Jeong Sun Tea - Vice President of Midas IT shared that Korea and Vietnam are members of ASEAN. The Company is currently connecting with Vietnam to carry out projects in the Vietnamese market in general and Dong Nai market in particular. LHU is the cradle of human resources training for the province, so connecting with it is an honor for the Company.

In addition, the MoU signing aims to coordinate and implement joint academic activities, scientific research, human resources training and development, community service and other social activities, specifically the cooperation contents agreed by the two sides.

Midas IT Company, Korea is now facing a shortage of main laborers specializing in Construction. Mr. Jeong Sun Tea also expressed his hope to welcome many employees from LHU.
